August updates from SYNQ

Over the past few months, we launched Scout for automated root cause analysis and monitoring & testing advising. You can now use this in your own environments such as Cursor or Claude Desktop through our MCP. This gives you access to all kinds of data quality-related workflows. For example, get recommended tests for a key data pipeline, or bespoke data quality reports you can share with your team each week.

What's new in SYNQ this month
SYNQ MCP
You can now use SYNQ’s new Model Context Protocol (MCP) to bring real metadata into data quality-related workflows. Supercharge workflows with smarter impact analysis, faster root cause investigation, and weekly quality digests.
Read more in our launch post.
Monitors as code
You can now manage SYNQ monitors through YAML code, managed in your environment. Specify which tables should have what monitors, and codify custom monitors directly in SQL. You can mix monitors as code with monitors and deployment rules defined in the SYNQ UI to match workflows that work across your entire team.

Atlan integration
SYNQ now performs a full catalog synchronization with Atlan and allows you to select which domains, products and owners you wish to pull. Monitoring and alerts can be configured on SYNQ on data assets imported from Atlan providing reliability over products and ownerships defined in Atlan without duplicating the effort across the two platforms.
